Do you find yourself in your garage, starting at your Yamaha Tenere 700, wishing it looked a lot more like an IT465? From its workshop in Europe, Unit Garage has heard your pleas, and now delivers this new body kit that gives your T7 a considerable amount of retro flair.

This kit is available in either Classic Blue or Midnight Black paint, or unpainted. It includes a new aluminum radiator guard as well as a high-mount front fender kit, a new set of side panels, an LED headlight, a fairing (with support components), a sticker kit and new front signals. The kit comes with an assembly instruction video and fasteners. Unit Garage also says the kit weighs less than the OEM parts, and makes the bike a better off-roader:
The parts of the replacement kit weigh about 4.5 kg less than the original ones and come from components that are located in front of the handlebar on the standard Ténéré. It is for this reason that the kitted bike is easier to handle than the production model. It becomes much more “racing” and drivable off-road…it looks like another motorbike! After about 4 hours of assembling the KIT you will have revolutionized the look of your motorbike making it unique, without modifying anything of the original parts. The Kit is compatible with all Ténéré 700 models (not World Raid). At any time you will be able to restore your bike to its original configuration. Naturally, in addition to the basic KIT, you will have the possibility to implement your Ténéré with other accessories visible in SPECIAL PARTS or in the CONFIGURATOR. Equipped with knobby tyres, it won’t find obstacles even off-road, also because the precious original parts are safe in your garage.

So, a four-hour project that can be put back to normal configuration? Might be interesting for some of you, and while 1398 euros (the asking price) isn’t super-cheap, the exchange rate means that’s only $1500 US right now. You can save money up-front by buying the unpainted version (but then you’ll have to pay to paint it yourself). More details at the Unit Garage website here.
