This 1990 BMW K1 is finished in red with yellow accents, and power comes from a 988cc inline-four paired with a five-speed transmission. Features include hollow camshafts, coated cylinders, a dry clutch, a driveshaft, triple ABS disc brakes, a Paralever rear swingarm, and a two-up seat with a color-matched removable passenger seat cowl. Locking storage compartments are located in the fairing and tail section. This K1 is offered at no reserve on dealer consignment with a clean Washington title.

The aerodynamic bodywork is finished in red with yellow graphics and accents. Equipment includes a plastic fairing, two-up seat with a removable passenger seat cowl, passenger grab handle, locking storage compartments in the left and right tail sections, and both center and side stands. There is a crack on the left-side fairing.

Yellow three-spoke alloy wheels measure 17″ up front and 18″ out back and wear Metzeler tires that were installed in preparation for the sale. Suspension consists of a telescopic fork with a progressive spring rate up front and a single-sided Paralever swingarm with a monoshock out back. The anti-lock braking system features dual discs up front and a single version at the rear.

The black-finished handlebar is equipped with heated grips and a pair of round mirrors, and it is secured beneath a console housing the ignition switch. Instrumentation includes a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an 8,500-rpm redline. Fuel level and engine temperature gauges are located on either side of the inner fairing along with a locking storage compartment. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 22k miles, approximately 100 of which were ridden under current ownership. The seller notes that the tachometer works intermittently.

The 988cc DOHC inline-four was factory rated at 95 horsepower and features four valves per cylinder, Bosch Motronic electronic fuel injection, and a four-into-one exhaust system with a polished muffler. Additional equipment includes a pump-driven dual-circuit cooling system, hollow camshafts, and specially coated cylinders without liners. Power is transferred to the rear wheel though a dry clutch, a close-ratio five-speed transmission, and an enclosed driveshaft. The battery was replaced in September 2024.
