No Reserve: 1977 Honda CB750K

This 1977 Honda CB750K remained with its first owner from new until it was acquired by the seller in 2021. Refurbishment work under current ownership is said to have included refinishing the bodywork in blue and the frame in black, re-plating the chrome-finished components, overhauling the 736cc SOHC inline-four with oversized pistons, and replacing the timing chain, timing chain tensioner, valves, valve springs, and valve guides along with various bearings, bushings, and seals. The bike features a kick starter, an electric starter, a quartet of Keihin carburetors, a four-into-four exhaust system, a front disc brake, 19″ front and 17″ rear wire-spoke wheels, a two-up seat, a rear grab bar, engine guards, and both center and side stands. This CB750K7 shows 58k miles and is offered in Canada at no reserve with refurbishment photos, screenshots of an article featuring a 2017 recommissioning of the motorcycle, and Ontario registration in the seller’s name.

The bike was disassembled and refinished in metallic blue with gold, orange, and white accents as part of the refurbishment. Additional work is said to have involved media-blasting the frame before powder-coating it in black as well as re-plating the chrome-finished components. Features include a two-up seat, a rear grab bar, engine guards, and both center and side stands.

Wire-spoke wheels measuring 19″ up front and 17″ out back are mounted with Dunlop D404 tires. Stopping power is provided by a disc brake with an aftermarket rotor up front and a drum brake out back. Suspension consists of a telescopic fork in addition to a pair of shocks connected to the swingarm. The seller notes that the bike was fitted with replacement bearings, bushings, and seals as part of the refurbishment.

The chrome-finished handlebar is equipped with dual mirrors, and it is mounted aft of a Nippon Denso 140-mph speedometer, a matching tachometer, and a bank of indicator lights as well as an AutoMeter oil pressure gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 58k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership. The gauge dials and the redline are faded.

The 736cc SOHC inline-four is equipped with a kick starter, an electric starter, bright case covers, four Keihin carburetors, and a chrome-finished four-into-four exhaust system. The seller notes that the cylinder head was machined, the cylinders were bored, and the pistons, timing chain, timing chain tensioner, valves, valve springs, and valve guides were replaced as part of the refurbishment.

Power is sent to the rear wheel through a five-speed transmission and a drive chain.

An identification plate stamped with the VIN CB750K2719510 is riveted to the steering stem.
The vehicle does not have a title and is being sold on its Ontario registration, which serves as the ownership document in Ontario, Canada. The Ontario registration document omits the CB750K prefix and lists the VIN as 2719510.
