New Wolfman Threadworks Line Offers Highly Personalized Saddlebags

Date

When Wolfman Luggage debuted its then-new WP lineup at the IMS Long Beach motorcycle show in 2019, reaction was mixed. Some riders liked the new RF-welded lineup, and others preferred the earlier stitched-together design. Now, adventure riders can once again buy those older designs, sort of, with the launch of the new Wolfman Threadworks line. In an ADVrider forum post from March of 2022, inmate @FlyingEagle asked: I almost bought a kriega os6 & base set up but not 100 % sure yet. Alas, here I am for advice. Worried the kriegas may be too big for solo day rides on both a klx250 & ktm 450… If only they had a 3.5L pack! So I guess I’m looking for something similar but less capacity! Did see the wolfman day tripper. Not sure about that one. Also thought about rigging up some 3L enduristan fender tool bags somehow. Want to get more weight of my back, carry a few essentials like spare tubes etc. That I can switch between bikes as required. Not a fan of tank or tail bags because some aggressive enduro is included on our dual sport days. Thanks for any suggestions Of course, he got lots of opinions; a few posts down it basically turned into a mass recommendation of the Wolfman Day Tripper design… and those bags had been discontinued. Then, Eric Hougen, owner of Wolfman, commented: So you miss the Day Trippers, would you buy them again if offered and updated. They will cost more , a bunch more as raw materials and Sewing labor have gone up like 90% in some cases. Made in US. Only a few days later, Hougen was posting photos of a revised Day Tripper design, with approximately 12-liter capacity. In the World of Wolfman thread, he showed the updated bags in action and said the front mounting point is now angled better, carrying weight without a forward droop; he also says the new bags are more secure to the bike than the previous design. And now, these bags are about to be available under the new Wolfman Threadworks brand. Details are still limited, but it seems Hougen and his company plan to offer these bags as custom or semi-custom builds, with buyers able to choose what colors they prefer. More details for you when we have them! The post New Wolfman Threadworks Line Offers Highly Personalized Saddlebags appeared first on Adventure Rider.
