Kramer Motorcycles USA says it is accepting reservations for its new 2023 Kramer HKR Evo2 S. For 2023, the track-only weapon is available with a reduced MSRP of $15,995.
Track only race bike
According to Kramer, the HKR Evo 2S is for those racers “…who have been looking for the right platform to build their own championship-winning machine, as the Evo2 S offers a potent starting point for a custom racing motorcycle.”
Powering the bike is KTM’s venerable LC4 690cc, single-cylinder engine. Kramer claims it makes 80 hp at the crank. Keeping the weight down, the HKR EVO 2S weighs in with a claimed curb weight of 285 lb.

The bike’s chassis uses a chromium-molybdenum steel-trellis tube design. In addition, a “self-supporting plastic fuel cell” serves as the bike’s tail section.
Evo2 S and Evo2 R differences
Are you wondering what the difference is between the Evo2 S and the Evo2 R? Well, Kramer says that the Evo 2S is different in a few areas. The Evo 2S features a single 320 mm brake disc on its front wheel, cast aluminum wheels, and different WP adjustable suspension components.

Talking about the HKR Evo2 S, Kramer’s CEO Joe Karvonen said:
“The Kramer HKR Evo2 R will always be our ‘no compromises’ turnkey race bike for riders who are fighting for race wins and championship victories. But with the Kramer HKR Evo2 S, we wanted to offer a more affordable way to get on a Kramer, without sacrificing too much of the lightweight performance that’s become associated with the Kramer name.”
