If you are familiar with the world of multitools (and many ADVriders use these as backup tools on their machines), you likely know the Gerber Center Drive, a tool that has been in the Gerber catalogue for a few years now, and is currently their most popular model. Geber recently announced some updates to the Center Drive, including some customization options, something that the company says is an industry first.
In terms of functionality, the customization is really just the choice between a second, serrated blade or spring-loaded scissors. The original Center Drive came with the serrated blade, then the unit was updated with the scissors instead of the second blade. Now, customers can choose which one they get.

Further customization comes in the form of laser-etched graphics on the main blade, color options for the main body, black or satin color for the plier jaws, and the choice of a leather or nylon sheath. For the blade, there are options for a range of patterns, pictures, text, or even uploading an image of your choice.

Color options for the body include red and black (pictured), red and satin, flat sage green and black or satin, and coyote brown and black or satin. Prices differ for certain color combinations, graphics, or images added in the customization stage.
Otherwise, the Center Drive retains a useful compliment of tools that include spring-loaded pliers, magnetic bit driver with flathead and phillips bits, carbide wire cutters and strippers, pry bar with nail puller and bottle opener, awl, file, and the aforementioned serrated blade or spring-loaded scissors. Just the sort of thing you want on your bike, away from your shop (or maybe you are a Leatherman fan, or even one of those new multitools from Victorinox?).
