When you think about helmets, you probably think about things like safety, fit, and comfort. But did you ever buy a helmet hoping it would also come with specially scented candles? Probably not. But that’s just what helmet manufacturer Forcite is doing.
If you order a Forcite MK1S helmet before December 31st (or while supplies last), Forcite will send you a limited edition set of… wait for it… “Motorcycling Aromas.”
And as wild as this seems when you hear about the aromas, perhaps it is not such a weird idea after all. The candles may even have some scents you thought were lost long ago.
Motorcyclist candles?
The candles and aromas come from an Australian company called Sent Studio. With input from Forcite, Sent Studio developed five candle scents for motorcyclists.
The first two are not all that unusual and may resonate well with your family members should you decide to get yourself these candles. The first is called Ocean Road. Next up is Mystic Forest Ride. These two could be acceptable to pretty much everyone in your family. But the remaining scents may have them wondering whether you or the candles should be allowed in the house.
That is because the remaining scents include Fresh Leathers, Race Fuel, and Two Stroke. So if you have more than a few years and lots of races in your riding background, these three scents could be pretty nostalgic.

That said, I hope that the “Fresh Leathers” scent is truly fresh because I’m sure I’m not the only one whose leathers were not exactly nice smelling after a summer of racing.
Forcite says that the candles started off as sort of a Christmas gag, but here we are. If you would like to get these candles without buying a Forcite Helmet, they are not currently listed on Sent Studio’s website. As such, it is not clear whether they are available to the public. For more info, you could check in with Forcite or Sent Studio.
Oh, how I love the scent of two strokes in the morning…
