Don’t Dream About Adventures, Just Get Out There!

Date

ADVrider.com

[[{“value”:”This week, the Lowdown Podcast is back with a conversation with Eva Rupert. She’s a motelier, an overland adventurer, a Baja devotee, and a woman who once, while naked, cut the head off a boa constrictor and ate it—the body, not the head. At least we don’t think she ate the head. She’s chock full of advice about riding in Mexico and the American West, and offers candid views on adventure riding’s “awkward teenage phase.”
If you’ve been around the Overland Expo scene, or really if you’ve been around the overland and adventure riding scene in the American Southwest at all, you’ve probably heard about Eva’s work before, or maybe even met her. She’s the real deal in every way, and together with her partner Sterling Noren, she runs the Jonquil Motel in Bisbee, Arizona (a frequent stop for ADVers exploring AZ—check it out here!) and the Desert Adventure Rally.
