This 1998 Honda CBR600 F3 is a Smokin’ Joe’s Replica example that spent time in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Jersey before its recent acquisition by the seller. Powered by a 599cc inline-four paired with a six-speed transmission, the motorcycle is finished in a purple, yellow, and white racing livery. It also features a twin-spar frame, a full fairing, a tinted windscreen, a two-up seat, a quartet of 36mm carburetors, a four-into-two-into-one exhaust system with an aftermarket muffler, and triple disc brakes as well as a 41mm fork, a Pro-Link monoshock, color-coordinated 17″ wheels, and a side stand. The drive chain and the tires were reportedly changed in 2024. This CBR600 F3 is offered at no reserve with a spare windscreen, a Carfax report, and a clean New Jersey title in the seller’s name.
The fully faired bodywork is finished in a purple, yellow, and white livery patterned after the CBR600 F3 race bike ridden to the 1995 AMA Supersport championship by Miguel Duhamel. Details include a steel twin-spar frame, a 4.5-gallon fuel tank, a tinted windscreen, dual fairing-mounted mirrors, folding passenger foot pegs, a two-up seat with a passenger grab strap, and a side stand. The seller states that the fairing panels are cracked and scraped in various locations due to damage incurred under previous ownership, and the Carfax report indicates that the motorcycle was involved in an accident with another motor vehicle in October 2018.
Six-spoke 17″ alloy wheels are finished in yellow up front and purple out back and were reportedly mounted with Bridgestone tires in August 2024. Braking is from dual front disc brakes with twin-piston calipers and floating drilled rotors up front as well as a single disc brake with a drilled rotor out back. Showa-built suspension consists of a 41mm fork and a monoshock attached to the swingarm via a Pro-Link rising-rate linkage. The front suspension features spring preload and rebound damping adjustability, while the rear monoshock is adjustable for preload as well as rebound and compression damping.
Clip-on handlebars mounted above the top triple clamp frame a 180-mph speedometer, a white-dial 15k-rpm tachometer, and a coolant temperature gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 14k miles.
The liquid-cooled 599cc DOHC inline-four features four valves per cylinder, four 36mm constant-velocity carburetors, and four-into-two-into-one exhaust system with a Two Brothers Racing muffler. The oil was changed in September 2024. Photos show damage on the muffler.
Power is routed to the rear wheel through a six-speed transmission and a replacement drive chain that was installed in June 2024.
A spare windscreen is included in the sale.
The Carfax report displays the aforementioned October 2018 accident report and lists limited history in Massachusetts.
