This 2004 Honda Rune is a limited-production motorcycle based on the contemporary Valkyrie, and this example spent time in New York and Pennsylvania before it was acquired by the seller in 2023, reportedly from its second owner. Powered by a 1,832cc SOHC flat-six paired with a five-speed transmission, the bike is finished in Candy Black Cherry with chrome accents. It also features electronic fuel injection, an aftermarket six-into-six exhaust system, an enclosed driveshaft, a trailing-link fork, a single-sided swingarm, a Unit Pro-Link linkage and monoshock, 18″ and 17″ five-spoke wheels, triple disc brakes, a digital instrument display, LED taillights, Honda Ignition Security System (HISS), a black solo saddle with color-coordinated accents and a backrest, and a side stand. This Rune indicates 19k miles and is offered at no reserve with a Honda Rune Development Overview and Discussion report, factory literature and accessories, a Corbin two-up seat, an aftermarket windscreen, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The bike is finished in Candy Black Cherry (R-287M) and features an aluminum twin-spar frame, a 6.1-gallon fuel tank, a chrome engine guard, and a side stand. The lighting package is comprised of dual headlights housed in a triangular color-keyed bucket with a chrome visor in addition to chrome turn signals and a pair of vertical LED taillight strips incorporated into the rear fender. The bike is currently equipped with a Rune-branded black solo saddle with a backrest and color-coordinated accents, and a Corbin two-up seat with dual backrests will accompany the bike.

Five-spoke aluminum wheels measuring 18″ up front and 17″ out back were reportedly mounted with Dunlop tires in August 2023. Suspension consists of a chrome trailing-link fork in addition to a remote-reservoir monoshock attached to the single-sided swingarm via a Unit Pro-Link linkage and remote-reservoir monoshock. Braking is handled by dual Nissin three-piston calipers mounted over cross-drilled rotors up front as well as a two-piston Nissin caliper and a cross-drilled rotor at the rear.

The chrome-finished pullback handlebar carries matching controls, grips, and mirrors. A digital screen housed in a chrome console atop the fuel tank displays a speedometer, a fuel-level readout, and a pair of trip meters. The digital odometer indicates 19k miles. The bike is equipped with the optional Honda Ignition Security System (HISS), which added a remote steering lock system activated by a left-side lever. The removed factory handlebars are included in the sale.

The liquid-cooled 1,832cc SOHC flat-six features electronic fuel injection, two valves per cylinder, and an aftermarket chrome-finished six-into-six exhaust system. Factory-rated output was 118 horsepower and 120 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in February 2024, and the spark plugs were replaced in preparation for the sale.

Power is transferred to the rear wheel through a hydraulically actuated clutch, a five-speed transmission, and a driveshaft enclosed within the swingarm.

An owner’s manual, a service manual, and two keys are included in the sale. A Honda Rune Development Overview and Discussion report, an aftermarket windscreen, a coffee table book with CDs, and additional documents will also accompany the motorcycle.
