Alpine Panniers From Mosko Moto

[[{“value”:”Mosko Moto has made its name with wraparound-style motorcycle luggage, with tailbags and saddlebags that are intended to mount without a rack. Now, they’ve just released a new set of luggage, the Alpine panniers, intended for riders who want to stick with at traditional pannier rack setup. MSRP is $599.
At only 4.1 pounds per pannier, Mosko Moto says the Alpine bags are still intended for riders who want to prioritize weight savings. Note that they are intended to be universally-mounted to most of the pannier racks on the market without the need for a quick-release plate, which has become the industry standard increasingly.
The panniers (sold in pairs, of course) have a roll-top closure, with internal capacity of 60 liters total (30 liters per pannier). They’re made of a combination of 420D ripstop nylon (with a DWR coating to keep muck and moisture at bay) and 840D TPU-coated nylon fabric. Mosko Moto beefed up the high-wear areas for extra protection, and added fiberglass reinforcement to the back panel, with external compression straps keeping everything in place when the ride starts getting bumpy.

A removable inner tote bag makes it quick and easy to get your gear out quickly, if setting up your camp or going into a motel/hotel. Mosko made that tote waterproof, so if you need to separate dirty, yucky gear from clean stuff inside the pannier, it’s easier.
The attachment system includes four Hypalon-reinforced side straps, a lower Velcro wrap panel, and a high-strength nylon webbing attachment point up top, with premium aluminum Atlas buckle—the same buckle used on avalanche safety airbag backpacks. See it explained below:
