(Honda/)Honda’s aesthetic upgrades aim to give the CB500F a more aggressive aspect, as well as help improve aerodynamic performance. Touches in this department include headlight side ducts that help to route air more effectively around the fuel tank.A new LED headlight contributes to improvements in the looks department and also offers a wider distribution of light when used. The LED taillight is new as well.Honda adds its Selectable Traction Control system to the platform in 2024 as well, monitoring front and rear wheel speeds to help reduce rear wheel slip by reducing torque when questionable conditions are detected. A toggle switch on the left side of the handlebar gives riders the option of turning the system off.The 2024 Honda CB500F will be available in a Matte Black Metallic color. (Honda/)The bike also features a new 5-inch TFT display panel that allows riders to customize the display patterns to their liking. The toggle switch on the handlebar allows riders to easily make changes to the screen as needed.The bike remains powered by Honda’s tried-and-true 471cc parallel-twin engine, and the bike is suspended by a Showa SFF-BP fork and Pro-Link single shock out back.These changes follow on updates made back in 2022, which was the year the SFF-BP fork first made its appearance, along with a lighter swingarm and better braking package.
