Honda returns its newest, and smallest, dual sport to the lineup in 2024, with the now-available XR150L. The bike will be priced at $3,099 and be available in either white or black colors. The 2024 Honda XR150L in white. (Honda/)Although it looks like a motorcycle that’s been around a while, the XR150L made its debut last year. When the news was revealed, Honda made it clear who it thought would be most intrigued by the platform, including “veteran riders…outdoor-enthusiast families” or new riders in need of a reliable around-town bike.As you would imagine, the XR150L is devoid of bells and whistles. The 149cc single is air-cooled and utilizes a 22mm piston-valve carburetor. It’s a five-speed, chain-driven bike with nonadjustable suspension front and rear, plus a single disc front brake and 110mm drum at the back. A nicely padded seat, electric start, and rear carrier rack do serve to give the bike broader appeal, particularly to the set of riders Honda has in mind.2024 Honda XR150L in black. (Honda/)And for those with some budget left over after purchase, Honda does offer some choice accessory upgrades for the XR150L. These include a 12V accessory socket, skid plate, hand guards, and cargo options. The machine rolls on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, so it’s well positioned to perform comfortably both on the road and in the dirt. The classic, XR650L-derived aesthetic is bound to be appealing to plenty of riders as well.2024 Honda XR150L Dual Sport Technical Specifications and Price
