Notable among these changes is the inclusion of winglets, purported to help with handling but likely to be little more than a styling exercise.Updates that riders will be sure to notice on the road include new LED headlights that promise to improve visibility in low-light conditions, along with a new 5-inch TFT display screen. The bike is lighter than previous models thanks to a redesigned swingarm, and the bike’s nimble character is enhanced by the use of a Showa SFF-BP fork and Pro-Link shock with nine-position spring preload adjustability.Since its introduction in 2013, the CBR500R has been a favorite among beginner motorcycle riders and those on a budget who want sportbike style and an approachable machine.
