Honda has given its Africa Twin adventure-touring lineup a makeover for 2024, with updates to the chassis, electronics, engine, and styling. Several updates affect both the Adventure Sports ES and standard editions, while a few key tweaks affect each version separately. The Adventure Sports ES starts at $17,599 ($18,399 for the DCT model) and the standard Africa Twin will price at $14,799 ($15,599 for DCT). (Honda/)Revisions to the 1,084cc twin engine are across the board, and include a redesigned intake/exhaust system, updated valve timing, and an increase in the compression ratio to 10.5:1. Honda claims the changes result in a 7 percent torque increase, most noticeable in the middle of the rev range. (Honda/)The Adventure Sports ES receives a new 19-inch front wheel (the previous edition was fitted with a 21-incher) to improve on-road performance. As a result, suspension travel has been shortened and the seat height lowered to give riders improved handling feel on the asphalt. Amenities such as cruise control, heated grips, and electronically controlled suspension remain standard on the Adventure Sports ES in both manual and DCT versions.The Africa Twin DCT will price at $15,599.
